Lagopesole lodges the monumental Frederick's Castle, recently restored.

Going on the Potenza-Melfi road it is possible to reach Monticchio Lakes, ideal locality for a pic-nic.

Non very far there is Melfi, place of a beautiful norman castle, whose inside the archaeological museum is situated.

The route will be concluded at Lavello .
