Length of the Itinerary: 4 days

 

The route begins from Potenza. In the historical centre, along Pretoria street, it is possible to admire the Cathedral and the Churches. It is also interesting the Provincial Museum.

Pause in Acerenza in order to admire the wonderful Cathedral of XI century a.C.

In Venosa we can admire the Archaeological Park, Trinità Abbey and the Incompiuta. In the historical centre we find Pirro del Balzo Castle, that lodges the museum, and the Cathedral.

The route ends at Melfi, place of a beautiful norman castle, whose inside the archaeological museum is situated.
