This wood, in the area around Potenza, is about 175 hectares wide.

It is also an area for tourists with wonderful accommodation facilities. This territory is covered with thick conifers.

Excursionists come here in summer, while in winter cross-country skiing can be practised. At around 33 km it is possible to reach the ‘Passo Croce dello Scrivano’ (1,143 m) and the close ‘Serranetta’ (1,474 m) and ‘Serra Neviera’ (1,219 m), that offer very evocative panoramic views.

Relaxation is granted, most of all because of the comfort that high quality hotels guarantee.
