‘Palatium Sancti Gervasii’ inherited its name from the palace built by Federico II.
On a hill, 500 metres high, the Norman-Swabian Castle was built, overlooking the area beneath. It was modified several times, became the country home of the Norman princes and was used by Federico II during his hunts. It is a three-storey building with a central court. Its façade, with square towers, is characterised by four mullioned windows and a central mullioned window with three lights.
In the village, ‘Palazzo D’Errico’ (XIX century) is very interesting, the rich D’Errico Picture Gallery used to be kept in it.
